  Note: it may be necessary to recompile libav if the opencv version is newer.

A new version of managerIPs integrating Deep Learning technology
is in development, it is advisable to install the openCV 3.4.0 version
in this context. The application has been compiled with OpenCV 3.4.0
The installation script was tested on a clean version of ubuntu - studio - 17.10 and ran normally.

Uninstall if earlier version.
sudo apt-get autoremove libopencv-dev python-opencv
sudo apt-get purge libopencv-* python-data python-opencv
In the installation directory, delete any reference or directory from an old OpenCV installation.

click and save the file to a directory of your choice ... (~ / src /)

In this directory click right open a terminal and right click on the file
-> permission-> permit
this file to be executed as a program.

  Use sudo cmake-gui if for some mysterious reason the installation was not done.    
Check if a dependency is missing and click on generate.
In the build directory,
sudo make && make install.

Install Qt libraries

chmod +x ./
sudo apt-get install build-essential
sudo apt-get install libfontconfig1
sudo apt-get install mesa-common-dev
sudo apt-get install libglu1-mesa-dev -y

Install arp-scan and / or nmap

sudo apt-get install arp-scan
sudo apt-get install nmap

If openssl is not installed:
sudo apt
-get install libssl-dev

Very Important: yolo.weights (203.9 MB) is no longer integrated in the directory darknet, in this directory execute the command:


You can edit the yolo detection files and select others, if you have some control over the subject.
You have an nvidia graphics card and you have installed CUDA (not always simple):
In the darknet directory, modify makefile

Recompile with the instruction make.


Put yourself in the nManagerIPs directory and open a terminal.
Run the application with the ./nManagerIPs command, if a dependency is missing,
you will be able to identify it.
or ldd nManagerIPs.
Install missing libraries using synaptic.
